Gary Stevens

Gary is a seasoned technology and programme leader with over 30 years of global experience spanning investment banking, cybersecurity and fintech innovation. From legacy systems to frontier tech, Gary has consistently delivered complex programmes with clarity, control, and commercial impact.

Currently serving as an Initiative Manager at UBS, Gary leads cross-functional programmes in Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), following the UBS–Credit Suisse merger. His role spans regulatory transformation, data-driven onboarding systems, and operational architecture across investment banking domains.

Gary’s entrepreneurial and startup experience includes serving as Operations Director for Deklum Cyber, a biometric data-sharing venture, where he steered product delivery and financial sector integration. Prior to that, he founded 5K Solutions Ltd, providing consultancy to leading financial institutions and defence technology providers. His work has powered Brexit readiness at Societe Generale, digital onboarding at Santander, and naval comms systems with The IP Company N.V.

With a career that has crossed geographies—including senior roles in London, Sydney, Auckland, and Hong Kong—Gary brings a global lens to system delivery and stakeholder alignment, managing large scale, highly complex initiatives. He has held senior roles across a variety of firms, and possesses deep expertise in capital markets infrastructure, programme governance, and regulatory compliance.
